So, after weeks of pining over the Nikon D60, I ended up buying it off Amazon and spending the little extra for the expedited delivery in order that I could play around with it this weekend. It is a beautiful beast – well, not quite a beast as it’s one of the most compact non-compact cameras you can get.

Unfortunately, my propensity or lack thereof for reading manuals has meant that I have yet to discover all the wonderful features this expensive toy has to offer. I did, however, order a guide, an English guide, on how to make the most of the camera, which unfortunately again, won’t be delivered for a couple of weeks. Oh well.

I will now have to organise more day trips or any sort of trips with my camera so that I can brush up my photography skills. The batch I took today have been posted up on fb but I’m also looking into setting up my own private photo gallery.

My website, which this blog is a part of, has massive amounts of space so I’m thinking of hosting them here. Maybe, I’ll end up using Picasa or Flickr.
